Edward D. Bryson, president of Esper Systems, has been a computer programmer for the past thirty years. Originating from New York, Ed moved his one-man computer consulting firm to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1988. In 1994, Ed became active in the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Regional Network of Tennessee (KORRnet), and it was at this time that he incorporated the internet into his company to become a local internet service provider. In 1998, Ed was elected to Chair the User Steering Committee of KORRnet. Information received by being involved with KORRnet has enable Ed to better guide the development of Esper Systems, a computer consulting firm and a provider of dial- up POTS, ISDN, and T1 internet access with a 6 meg backbone, to meet the needs of the community.
