One Good Day

Found out I'd lost a friend last night -- a good guy gone suddenly, way too soon. Here's how I felt this morning.


Give me one good day
I’d give back all the rest

I’ve made oh such a mess

these ideas in my head
are an idle use of time

is more than some have had
Just one good day
wouldn't be so bad
