I wanted to announce the publication of my new book Understanding New Media:
Extending Marshall McLuhan. This book is an update of McLuhan's book
Understanding Media. I have described the impact of the new media on each
medium McLuhan analyzed and I have described each of the new media that
McLuhan never had a chance to observe. I have created a Web site which
describes the book and provides a partial pototype for our sBook project.
