Dear Simone:

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I) in response to my following
previous list distribution;

> (03/22/07) John Eger's new essay on Power Shift for flattening societal
> structure
> http://tinyurl.com/27rlud

(2) Yes, I am sure that John Eger¹s ³Smart Community² concept can be the
basis of any community development ‹ see further info in the following his
paper;

> John M. Eger, San Diego State University
> "Athens in the Information Age"
> http://tinyurl.com/r78pk

This has a well written chapter on ³10 Steps to Becoming a Smart Community.²

Pls feel free to contact him for any further queries.

(3) When you will construct the community development networks, you may
follow the following proven cases, though Bolivia seems not to have
broadband Internet yet <RedCLARA Network-B.pdf> <http://tinyurl.com/22g6zo>;

> (a) Navajo Nation Network <http://tinyurl.com/22az3y>
>
>> Stephens, David, ³The end of poverty, the ITU and the Navajo nation² <Navajo
>> ICT copy.pdf> <http://tinyurl.com/3cwmal>
>>
>> These are in my following previous list distribution;
>>
>> (03/21/07) Possible creation of GUS/Palestine/Gaza Strip and Peace Gaming
>> http://tinyurl.com/2wmeyt
>
> (b) Telemedicine Project of Kosovo <http://tinyurl.com/3yl627>
>
>> This was in my following previous list distribution;
>>
>> (02/20/07)-B Telemedicine project of Kosovo
>> http://tinyurl.com/34ekzd
>
(4) I once had communications on the possible creation of GUS/Bolivia with
Mrs. Muller of Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA) in
Bolivia through the introduction of Dr. Lima of Peruvian For Applied Science
University in Peru (whom my wife, Hisae, and I met in Havana, Cuba before).

Should you have an occasion to visit Bolivia, pls feel free to follow-up
this subject with Mrs. Muller, since I haven¹t heard from her colleagues
since then yet.

Incidentally, the president of Bolivia visited Tokyo very recently and had a
good reception by the Japanese government. He pledged to abolish war as
following the Japanese constitution.

Wishing you a very good luck to your work at the FAO in Rome and pls convey
hello to your family members in Milan from Hisae,

Best, Tak
