(2) I express my sincere thanks for your kind and generous invitation to me
and my wife for our attending your conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh in the
week of January 19th. It will be our great honor and privilege to accept i=
t

convenience =8B including our travel logistics, etc.
Dear Ernie and Bob:
(4) Many thanks for your msgs (ATTACHMENT I and II).
Yes, I am familiar with the recycling of used medical equipment to
developing countries, since my younger brother has a large hospital in Japa=
n
and often donates his used equipment to his colleagues in Brazil, Nepal,
etc., etc.
(5) Pls feel free to contact Zakir with your project, since he is a medical
doctor and is now operating a large healthcare networking program in
Bangladesh and India.
(6) You may also contact Pablo Plido, since his association has almost 384
university hospitals around the Latin American countries.

,
Amazon, who did a echo-cardiograph demonstration of tele-diagnosing a real
patient from Amazon by a specialist medical doctor at the University of
Michigan during our =B3Global Lecture Hall (GLH)=B2 multipoint-to-multipoint,

before he retired from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) last yea=
r
=8B of course, he has a medical background from the Univ. of Sao Paulo.
(9) Prof. Rashid at the University of Michigan may be another person you ma=

Subject: request for assistance
Tak:=20
Please forgive my informality in addressing you as "Tak", but Ernie Anderso=
n
did not give me given name!
Ernie thought you might be able to point me in the right direction with my
quest. I am currently operating a non-profit charity which collects
ex-planted heart pacemakers and defribulators for donation to needy patient=
s
in developing countries. These units can only be taken out of the U.S. by
physicians who are to be using them in their missions overseas. So far I
have been only able to make contact with a very limited number of
cardiologists, and I am most interested in spreading the word of the
availability of these units, and to get them into the hands of doctors who
can use them. Ernie thought perhaps that with your many contacts in the
field of international medice you might be able to refer me on to medical
missionary groups, or perhaps make introductions to others who may be able
to help me in this quest.
Many thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,=20
