Dear fellow PTC Sig member,
Following interest from the mid year workshop and from other PTC
members, I would like to propose a series of weekly webinars on ICT for
development starting this Wednesday, 11th June at 14:00 Tokyo time.
The first webinar will provide familiarisation with the virtual
classroom and will invite potential presenters to put forward ideas for
topics and presentations for following sessions - perhaps they could be
based around the material being collected by Takeshi Utsumi.
I ran a similar program of interactive broadcasts last year on the topic
of the Information Society - you can view the program, presenters,
locations and archives at :-

for these weekly events providing that PTC members promote the webinars
and are willing to provide presentation content for the sessions.
