This is a very valuable paper and I read it through with great interest.
As you see in my paper mentioned above, I conceived GCEPG three decades ago
with the use of global neural computer network which is now called as Globa=
l
Grid Computer Network. As you say, this is the next phase of Internet
development.
We have been working on the dissemination of the benefits of such
development to developing countries with the use of satellite and wireless =

which you also pointed out.
As you say, this will bring collaborative and constructive creativity with
interactive actions on virtual reality simulation models by youngsters
around the world for the realization of the Knowledge Society of the 21st
century. We hope this will also bring the world peace among them.

(6) Many thanks for your acknowledgement of my initiating the idea of the
grid computing technology in 1972, in your =B3Simulation in the Service of
Society,=B2 September, 2000 =8B I took the liberty of attaching its excerpting
file to this msg.
Pls see Figure 7 in my paper.
It seems that we are now getting the tide of this movement!!
As my previous list distribution mentioned, the US National science
Foundation=B9s awareness to this concept was very, very slow =8B it took almost
three decades =8B as mentioned before, one of their science attache at the
American Embassy in Tokyo said to me in early 1970s, =B3Tak is thinking two
decades ahead of time =8B that=B9s is why of his problem!!=B2
Their TeraGrid project mentioned in my paper started in the summer of last
year, and connects a half dozen super computers around the US, with very
expensive high speed Internet for synchronous distributed grid computing.
This is a rich-man=B9s approach, and we cannot expect to extend it to various
developing countries in the near future, though many of scientific papers
optimistically mention of the advent of the =B3global=B2 grid computing network=
.
Subsequently, even considering unavoidable time difference around the globe
and head-scratching time of game players, it would be advisable to use the
scheduling algorithm with time warp method to have compromises between
slower Internet lines and their costs =8B as I proposed in my paper about two
decades ago. This is in a sense to have asynchronous distributed global
grid computing for the benefits of researchers in developing countries.

It is increasingly important for our culture to bring people together and t=

this. The IJWBC aims at publishing scientifically proven methods on how to
organize and moderate WWW-based communities. These communities do not limit
participants to particular locations - the international and multicultural
dimension is a most challenging one. Good WWW communities undergo a
continuous evolution and adapt to the changing world. The nature of these
communities can be corporate, scientific, social or educational. Pragmatic
questions which need to be addressed include: What software tools are the
most adequate and how to use them? How to promote your community so that ne=
w
members can find it? How to protect the members' privacy? How to moderate
discussions and how to provide information that people can use? How to
create and maintain a sense of trust and commitment among the members? In
addition, sociology, education, communication and philosophy issues are
addressed as the main disciplines reflected in building WWW-based
communities, although critical theories on societies and post-modernism are
also relevant starting points. New and imminent technologies will be
discussed.
Objectives
IJWBC aims at bringing together new vital understanding of WWW communities
and what new initiatives mean. Each new perspective is potentially a
catalyst for finding new architectures. National and regional-oriented
communities may soon be relegated to a subordinate position compared to
interest-oriented communities. Multiculturalism, critical thinking,

As my previous list distribution mentioned, the US National science Foundat=
ion’s awareness to this concept was very, very slow — it took al=
most three decades — as mentioned before, one of their science attache=
at the American Embassy in Tokyo said to me in early 1970s, “Tak is t=
hinking two decades ahead of time — that’s is why of his problem=
!!”<BR>

Their TeraGrid project mentioned in my paper started in the summer of last =
year, and connects a half dozen super computers around the US, with very exp=
ensive high speed Internet for <U>synchronous </U>distributed grid computing=
. This is a rich-man’s approach, and we cannot expect to extend =
it to various developing countries in the near future, though many of scient=
ific papers optimistically mention of the advent of the “global”=
grid computing network.<BR>

Subsequently, even considering unavoidable time difference around the globe=
and head-scratching time of game players, it would be advisable to use the =
scheduling algorithm with time warp method to have compromises between slowe=
r Internet lines and their costs — as I proposed in my paper about two=
decades ago. This is in a sense to have <U>asynchronous </U>distribut=
ed global grid computing for the benefits of researchers in developing count=
ries.<BR>
