Dear E-Colleagues:
(1) My last list distribution was "(03/27/02) System Dynamics simulation an=
d
its K-12 education" which can now be retrieved at
http://www.friends-partners.org/pipermail/gu-l/2002q1/date.html
(2) This distribution was supposed to accompany with the following articles
of Prof. Jay W. Forrester of Massachusetts Institute of Technology;
> 1. =B3From the Ranch to System Dynamics: An Autobiography=B2 (D-4197-3.JWF
> Biography.pdf) (106 KBytes),
> 2. =B3Learning through System Dynamics as Preparation for the 21st Century=B2
> (D-4434-3.21stCent.pdf) (61 KBytes),
> 3. =B3System Dynamics and K-12 Teachers=B2 (D-4665-4.SD&K-12 teachers.pdf) (1
> MBytes),
> 4. =B3Counterintuitive Behavior of Social Systems=B2
> (D-4468-2.Counterintuitive.pdf) (249 KBytes).
However, at that time, I had a serious trouble with my email system
(Microsoft/Mac Office-X/Entourage) and also encountered with the problems o=
f
upgrading the system of host computer for our list-serve.
Subsequently, I later found that the articles were not properly attached to
the distribution =8B and worse yet, a piece of a list distribution of EDTECH
of Michigan State University was inserted inadvertently between the
corrupted attachments.
(3) Pls visit =B3Current Reference Websites=B2 at

(4) I apologize this mishaps.
Dear Prof. Yamasawa:
(5) Referring to our recent phone conversation, pls read Prof. Forrester=B9s
Article 3 above. I would like to have Japan follow the suit of
proliferating System Dynamics teaching among K-12 as in the US.
It is just an extension of your specialty, i.e., electrical engineering.
You may start reading my introductory book =B3System Dynamics=B2 (in Japanese)
which was published from Kyoritsu Shuppan Company on June 15, 1973, with
Prof. Segeru Watanabe of the University of Tokyo and Mr. Yoichi Kodama of
Soka University. It introduced the World Dynamics of Prof. Forrester.
Dear Seth:
(6) These are the articles you asked me =8B pls enjoy reading them,
particularly the Article 1 of his autobiography.
Best, Tak
