Dear Dr. Hong:
==============

(1) It was certainly my great pleasure to have met again with you, Mrs.
Hong and your Tai Ji Men members in Washington, D.C. on June 28th,
after your attending the round table party of President Bush a night
     before.

It was also my great honor to deliver my luncheon talk to your
     distinguished members.

(2) I was also very delighted to receive your invitation (ATTACHMENT I) to
attend the "Global Peace Assembly" in Taipei, Taiwan from August 13 to
16, 2001, which will be held by Ms. Annette Lu, Vice President of the
     Republic of China.

It will be my great honor and privilege to accept this generous
     invitation.

(3) The conclusion of your highly successful World Citizens Assembly (WCA)
2001 in Taipei last April was to make education as the basis of world
     peace.

Our Global University System (GUS) (TM) will be very happy to work
with you toward this goal, with the use of advanced high-tech
     information and telecommunication technologies.

During my attendance at the WCA 2001, I noticed that Taiwan can be the
meeting point of Eastern and Western cultures to create a new culture
of the Knowledge Society in the 21st century with the convergence of
     high-tech and spirituality.

(4) I would then like to respectfully inquire you the possibility of
having brainstorming sessions on August 17th (Friday) and 18th
(Saturday) with your members, other interested people in medical,
     governmental and industrial fields.  The agendas could be;

     (a) Conduct of a series of workshop/conference in order to form
GUS/Taiwan with the use of broadband wireless Internet,
     (b) Possible enhancement of current satellite e-learning programs
          from Taiwan to mainland China,
     (c) Possible use of Taiwanese satellite for joint projects on e-learning
and e-health with the Philippines and Eastern Asian
          countries,
     (d) Possible provision of English (and/or Japanese) as a Second
Language (ESL or JSL) program with advanced wireless Internet,
          etc.

(5) In the following week in Tokyo, I would like to report the above and
other activities of our GUS projects to echelons of Japanese
parliament, government, academic and industry for their supports.

(6) I thank you again for your invitation and look forward to receiving
your prompt response to the above.

Best, Tak

Dear Dr. Utsumi,

I am very pleased to have this opportunity to bring you the good news that
there will be the " Global Peace Assembly", to take place between August 13 -
16, 2001. It is my honor to invite you to attend this assembly. As you can
see, after WCA 2001, it is not the end, but a new beginning for world peace.

Due to the great success of WCA 2001, Ms. Annette Lu, Vice President of the
Republic of China, has invited the Association of World Citizens (AWC) to co-
host the conference, along with two other UN/NGO's, the Millennium World
Peace Summit, and the Women's Federation for World Peace in Taipei.

August 14, which falls within the duration of the assembly, is of tremendous
significance for the past, as well as the present and future because it was
the official end to World War II. This year is the 60th anniversary of the
end of World War II. The suffering, fear and pain brought by war are known to
all human beings. As peace-lovers, we have a responsibility to making the
world a peaceful one. This assembly is a good opportunity for us to work
toward this goal.

The four-day program for the assembly is below:

Monday, August 13
3:30 pm ~ 4:30 pm Press Conference
6:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Reception and welcome dinner hosted by Vice
                         President Lu

Tuesday August 14
Trip to Quemoy (once a war-inflicted zone, but now a commercial exchange
outpost on Taiwan)

Wednesday, August 15
9:00 am ~ 5:10 pm A global peace forum with keynote speech by
President Chen-Shui-bian and luncheon hosted by
Nobel Chemistry Laureate, Dr. Yuan-tse Lee.

Thursday, August 16
9:00 am ~ 11:00 am Round Table: Global and Regional Peace in Perspective

                         Moderator;

11:00 am ~ 12:00 pm Conclusion & Luncheon

As our distinguished guests, your expenses, including round-trip airfare and
accommodation during the assembly will be covered by the "Peace Yes, Missiles
No" Assembly. To ensure that the program moves full ahead, I would need your
assistance in replying to my invitation as early as possible.

Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to seeing you soon.

All the best to you,

Dr. Hong Tao Tze
