Subject: [FPSPACE] Globus satellite mystery
If I am not mistaken, Russia has never released photos or drawings of the Raduga-1/Globus-1 satellite, like the one it launched this morning:

Interestingly, we did see a number of official images of the Meridian, another new-generation military comsat:

Giving the fact that Russia made many steps to make its informational policy about military activities in space consistent, I am wondering what is it about Raduga-1/Globus-1, which makes it so shy? Or is it a Meridian an exception?...or maybe paraphrasing Donald Rumsfeld "...it is just one of those inconsistencies..."
