Are you saying that Russian generals are not to be trusted?
Were former Department of Defense space consultant Taylor Dinerman right
after all, and were Russian generals Shershnev and Popovkin wrong, in their
mutual quarrrel about whether Iridium 33 deliberately rammed into Cosmos
2251, or whether Cosmos 2251 deliberately targeted Iridium 33?
Or could the Americans have planned a collision at the same time as the
Russians planned one, too? That would be a funny coincidence!

I am not sure if this is official, but by all accounts, NPO Lavochkin has a
new management team. Many observers in Russia note with great satisfaction
that the new head of the organization has a doctorate degree in engineering
instead of a general's rank. I thought it was quite appropriate to put a
note about this on the Phobos-Grunt page :)
