I note that this news article uses the designation "Soyuz TMA-01M" for the new-model digital Soyuz. 
Is this to be the new standard or did the reporter make a reasonable but wrong guess?


16 Spacecraft To Be Launched To ISS In 2010

   MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax-AVN) - Sixteen manned and cargo spacecraft are due to be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2010.

   "Under the plan approved by the partner nations, 16 spacecraft are due to be launched to the ISS this year: nine manned spacecraft, including four Russian Soyuz and five U.S. shuttles, and seven cargo ships, including six Russian Progresses and one European ATV," a source in the rocket and space industry told Interfax-AVN.

   The nearest launch to the ISS is scheduled for February 3 with the Russian spacecraft Progress M-04M, the source said.

   U.S. shuttle Endeavor is due to be launched on February 7, shuttle Discovery on March 18. Russian Soyuz TMA-18 will be sent to the orbit on April 2, cargo ship Progress M-05M on April 28, U.S. shuttle Atlantis on May 14, and Soyuz TMA-19 on June 14. Russian spacecraft Progress M-06M and shuttle Endeavor are due to be launched on June 28 and July 29, respectively. The next Progress cargo ship will fly to the ISS on August 31, and shuttle Discovery will lift off from Cape Canaveral on September 16. 

   The first flight of manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-01M, equipped with a digital control system, is scheduled for September 30. Progress M-08M is due to be launched on October 27, ATV-2 on November 30, and Soyuz TMA-20 on December 10. New Year presents for the ISS crew will be delivered by Russian freighter Progress M-09M due to be launched on December 27.
