Some may already be aware of this, but the most public articulation of Decadal Planning Team ideas so far is this:

Wes Huntress, whose Grand Challenges concepts got the DPT rolling, instigated this International Academy of Astronautics study and edited the final report. NASA never published a final report on DPT/NEXT (though it did write a rather sloppy draft covering the mid-1999 to late 2000 period, a fact not known even to many DPT participants). Huntress told me that the IAA study is the closest thing to a DPT/NEXT final report ever actually published.

Does anyone know what happened to Robert Farquhar's follow-on to the IAA study? There was some sort of interim announcement on its progress a year or two ago, but I lost track of "Next Steps II" after that.
