[FPSPACE] question...about Soviet satellites

No payloads are nknown to have disintegrated in orbit during this time period, other than those damaged as part of launch vehicle malfunctions.

If you go to the website for the NASA JSC Orbital Debris Office you can download their latest report of all unclassified fragmentations in orbit.

  During the years 1961 or 1962,  were there any Soviet launched satellites that exploded/ruptured in Earth orbit?  Not talking about launch failures here.
