Hi all -

I'm a lurker on this list and although I haven't posted in the past, I
do find it one of the more interesting, as well as informative, email
groups on the web -- at least when it comes to the space program(s).

I just happened to run into this article and thought most of you would
find it very informative and enjoyable to read. I know many of you are
aware of this topic (such as James Oberg, whom I think even wrote about
it, or at least remarked about it, in the past) of women being trained
as astronauts (i.e. Women in Space Program ) in the early '60's, but for
those of you who may not be too familiar with this part of NASA's early
history, I thought may appreciate a heads up regarding this subject!

Sorry if the 'hot' links don't work properly; however, the URLs in
parentheses do work. I'm working with a new email program and I'm still
trying to get settled in with it.

Best to all,
Mal
