If you want up-to-the-minute information on what the Russians might be
doing, Anatoly Zak has a twitter account, and if you sign up, he can send
you his tweets about it.

 

There is also an article on Venera-D on the BBC Science webpage by Anatoly.
Mentions a "wind flier."  (Mini airplane like an ultralight?)
