Interestingly, this cites Musudan-ri, the traditional east coast pad, as the launch site. Speculation earlier suggested NK would launch its next TD-2 class missile from the new west coast launch site.

This choice of site could be linked to the trajectory. It could also suggest the new site is not ready, and will not be ready for some time. It also suggests that there is an immediacy about the need for the launch. The implications of this "immediacy" are scary. I'm not sure that the gravity of the whole situation is fully appreciated by the world in general.
