Do they plan to take the US-owned FGB with them?

Maybe having the only firearms at the ISS will prove useful!

Subject: [FPSPACE] Post-ISS projects for Russian modules

BBC reports Russia to save its ISS modules to make a new station after 2020.

New partnership with ESA and others on this "new" station?

  http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2009/05/20/326773/2025-leo-shipyard-is-new-esa-roscosmos-goal.html

Onwards to the Moon? Onwards to Mars? And how many nations? Will this be a true partnership between Russia, Europe and China? Is this a new partnership designed to work around (and exclude) the USA?

Is it all hot air, as so many other projects have turned out in the past?
