Just some blue skying here about the situation -
Who did, does, could NK sell missiles or missile tech to other than Iran? (That's one file from my History of Cosmonautics that I won't be sending out free copies of. If you didn't get a copy of it in 1996, you won't be getting one, no matter who you are and how nicely you ask for it.)
(As an aside, isn't the perceived Iranian threat to Israel THE reason why this story will get so much play, and the "public space analysts" will make money? And isn't the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at the heart of Iranian antagonism towards Israel? And couldn't the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have been ended years ago had either the Camp David accords or Oslo agreements been implemented? Oh what fools we mortals be....
Personally, I'm really tired of this ride and want to get off of it. There's about 6 billion other people on this planet who pretty much feel the same way.
As for your own involvement in this, isn't that one reason why none of you comment on Israel's military tech ties and development, except privately?)
Back to the story at hand, NK. Now "assume" NK did sell missile tech to Iran. Could they do it now? Anyway to deliver it except by radio or computer files? And since Iran has had success, Iran would appear to be ahead of NK.
Perhaps NK is just testing the Iranian improvements. Or perhaps NK is just trying to gain a higher payment from other countries for stopping work on this.
Do any of you here actually know anything about the senior Party members in NK, or the Central Committee structure, or if there is any orderly means of succession when Kim passes, as we all do someday.
I know that this is really going to sound strange, but as I understand it, the Kim's were originally a Korean royal family. Might reunification take the form of a constitutional monarchy under not Kim Jr. but another member of his family?
Like I said upfront, blue sky entirely.
