Well, it's about time. Who better deserves commemoration in the ISS than this hard working American journalist and taxpayer?

I suppose David Letterman, John Stewart, and Jay Leno are a bit jealous right now. 

And to think that Colbert did not have to pay a thing. 
I suppose this will give China, Russia, India and many other nations new ideas about raising money for their space programs. "Tiangon Li" or some such.

I wonder if Steve will be visiting his module anytime soon.

You know, I once had a Russian friend offer to try and have a  crater on Mars named for me. I told him that would be fine, as long as they didn't call it "A**H*** Crater ".
 
I look for Obama visiting the Colbert Report for an exclusive  interview, and asking Steve to let the module be re-named. 

A pretty good trade with good PR all around.
