[FPSPACE] photoshopped view of Buran in orbit

Most on-orbit color photos of space craft have very contrasty appearances.
Very bright/very dark areas to the picture. This goes for NASA photos from
Gemini to Apollo to Skylab to Shuttle. Even in the Russian program such
photos can be had from the Salyut 6 and Mir efforts. Now, even the Chinese.
Illumination without an atmosphere, or a very tenuous one about, has unique
characteristics that can't be duplicated by grabbing a ground photo of
something and pasting it in.
While it is easy to "cut and paste" and "photoshop" things, it is
exceptionally more complex and difficult to mimic true on-orbit
illumination.

Subject: [FPSPACE] photoshopped view of Buran in orbit
Anybody know the original source of this photoshopped
view of Buran in orbit?

I've seen various collections of computer-generated Buran flight scenes,
most very nicely done. But right now I'm discussing this picture with a
guy who insists it was taken from a US spy satellite.
Thanks!
