Thank  you for this link. This is the best and most "to the point' essay I 
have read in  decades. This writing cast the messianic Martian visions of Zubrin 
into  the burning light of reality, while simultaneously illustrating the  
frailty of both technology, and the human spirit.
 
As for Obama's drifting space policies: I don't expect much from Obama, and  
he is living up to my expectation.
