[FPSPACE] The question of two Riedels

Hi,

It is known that two men with almost identical names 
were in charge of missile development in Peenemunde:

Walter J.H. Riedel ('Papa', Riedel I), and
Walther Johannes Riedel (Riedel III).

One of them was later employed at North American Aviation
and helped to develop the XLR-43-NA1 engine. (The same man
was involved in UFO studies in 1952.)

Well, which one of the two Riedels made it to NAA?
Sources seem to disagree badly so I'd like to see 
a qualified answer.
