[FPSPACE] Russian press on Kosmos landing in Bashkiria

claims that pieces from a satellite

landed locally in Bashkiria. 



My apologies to NK, I hadn't been paying 

attention to discussion boards there. But it was

noted in their news section (as Kosmos-2445):




     28.02.2009 / 10:53    Спускаемый аппарат спутника "Космос-2445" приземлился в Башкирии 
     


           23 февраля 2009 года приблизительно в 16:15 UTC (19:15 мск) в Башкирии совершил посадку спускаемый аппарат российского военного спутника "Космос-2445". По данным газеты "Комсомольская правда", посадка прошла в запасном районе. Длительность полета спутника составила 101 день.

The photograph is astonishing -- if it is the

object that landed -- but it also could be a

stock photo (but if so, where did they get it?).
