   This is sad - a blow to a unqiue merger of US business skills &
capital, plus Energia's heritage technology.

     It seems that the temporary oil & gas boom of 2007-8 didn't result
in the Russian Finance minister allocating any increases to Russia's
space budget. Now that there's a recession, they will surely get less.
