Subject: [FPSPACE] Doug Hurley - STS-127 Pilot
Folks,
We had a nice "local boy makes good" article in our Sunday paper, about Doug Hurley's upcoming STS-127 mission where he will serve as the Shuttle pilot for the delivery of the Japanese-built Exposed Facility (JEM-EF) to the ISS:

As the article says, we have four Shuttle program astronauts from our area, all just a few miles from my place here In Endicott, NY in rural southern New York State:
Eileen Collins from Elmira NY: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/collins.html
Dan Bursch from Vestal NY: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/bursch.html
Doug Wheellock from Harpersville NY: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/wheelock.html
Doug Hurley from Apalachin NY: http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/hurley-dg.html
