Folks,

Some our list member newbees may not know that when Jennifer set up the
FPSpace discussion group she also set a couple of conferences in Russia.  I
was able to attend both of them and established a lot of friendships that
have remained over the years.

The FPSpace 1996 workshop is still available online at Susan Kaltenbach's

and the FPSpace 1997 workshop with its side trip to Baikonur is still

None of this would have been possible without a lot of work on Jennifer's

Hello everyone!

I was just updating my CV and found myself typing in the phrase "...started
FPSPACE mail list in 1994". I had to stop a minute and do the math because
it's really hard to believe it's been 15 years! I'm not sure where all the
time went, but I'm really happy to see that the same people are posting to
the list now that were back then. Maybe we should have a 15-year reunion...
