[FPSPACE] Buran at Gorky Park

This gets me to thinking.  I examined the OK-GLI (BST-02) Buran (the  
atmosphere flyer with 4 jet engines) in Sydney when it was here.
Some of the heat tiles did seem oddly woody.
Does anyone know for sure what kind of tiles Buran 002 had?
