Hopefully even more historical materials will be released in a short time by the government of Russia, materials which will clear up some remaining questions.

In the meantime, for all the public analysts trying to pry the rest of the story loose, interviewing someone in propaganda or the stamp business would be good, if a contact could be found. If you can't track it that way, there's always the artists whose work was used, and the people in the plants where they were printed.
