» Visiting Scholar: Li Shouping, LL.M., Ph.D. in International Law
Professor Li Shouping is a visiting
scholar at the National Center for Remote
Sensing, Air and Space Law from December 2009 to
March 2010. He is Director of the Institute of
Space Law at the Beijing Institute of Technology
(BIT), the Deputy Dean of the BIT School of Law
and a partner in the Beijing Jinglun Law Firm.
Professor Li is also the Editor-in-Chief
of the Chinese Yearbook of Space Law. He is a
member of International Institute of Space Law,
and a Board Member of the Chinese Institute of
Space Law, as well as the Beijing Society of
International Law.
Professor Li's book, Introduction to
Outer Space Law, was published by the Chinese
Educational Ministry as part of the 2009 Social
Science Book Series. His 2004 book, The Legal
System on International Responsibility was
awarded second place in the social science
research area by the Beijing Municipal Government.
» Save the Date: Student Space Law Research Symposium - March 3, 2010
On March 3, 2010, the National Center for
Remote Sensing, Air, and Space Law will host a
student research symposium comprised of top
students from the Beijing Institute of Technology
School of Law, the Harbin Institute of Technology
School of Law and the National Center for Remote
Sensing, Air, and Space Law at the University of
Mississippi School of Law. Each participating
institution has competitively selected their top
three students to present their legal research at
the University of Mississippi School of Law in
Oxford, MS.
