I recently did some more searching of news clippings at a library for information on these missions. I didn't find out very much, and some of the information in the Indian media is contradictory.
Some sources point to a 2011 launch for Chandrayaan-2, others say 2012.
The launch vehicle is described as a GSLV mark 2 or GSLV mark 3. There is a big difference between these two vehicles, just like the difference between Ariane 4 and 5. I suspect that GSLV 2 will be used, as GSLV 3 has not yet been tested, and probably won't be ready soon.
There are also reports of co-ordinating observations between Luna-Glob and the Chandra-2 orbiter. This suggests that both should launch in the same year or timeframe.
A Chandrayaan-3 sample-return mission is under consideration, but work on it will not begin until the Chandrayaan-2 mission is completed.
