You consider that evidence? Sure, we can count on
a country's stamps to convey an honest version of
reality, that's been our experience over the past

Peter, it's just the kind of camouflage they could expect to be
effective, and you've provided an excellent example confirming
their expectation...
As I said, it's a crazy idea. The longer it goes without serious
counter-evidence, however, the less and less crazy it seems...

Just so that you know-the NK actually issued a special commemorative stamp sheet commemorating the launching of the satellite in 1998. I have seen it. It actually depicts the third stage and the satellite.
Even if one subscribes to the viewpoint that the NK government is lacking good judgement, or lacks scruples, I rather doubt that the stamp sheet would have been issued had there not been intent to launch a satellite back in 1998. All stamp issuances have to be planned in advance by a certain amount of time.
