[FPSPACE] NK political situation

Hi all - 

An excellent summary of a somewhat bizarre nation:

Though the summary does omit the importance of family visits across the border in making this situation less tense. 

If I remember, the Kim's were a royal family, which have no role in Marxist-leninist theory, while the state theoretically has a Party derivative political structure. Bizarre.

Note that both Kim and the eldest of his three sons had difficulty in serving in the "royal" role.

How the rocket and nuclear scientists fit into this, and how they're operating in such a confused and poverty stricken environment, will only likely be learned years from now.
It's sure to be a fascinating story.
