[FPSPACE] NK Launch - Underperforming second stage?

CNN reports suggest the first stage landed in the middle of the announced danger zone in the Sea of Japan, but it seems that the second stage fell short if its own announced zone.

This suggests that the second stage underperformed. If so, the third stage probably did not reach orbit.

This could explain the lack of confirmation of an object in orbit.
