John,

Maybe yes, maybe no...

PLA Sources Deny Late September Launch of 'Shenzhou VII'
Hong Kong Zhongguo Tongxun She in Chinese 0815 GMT 03 Sep 08
Zhongguo Tongxun She on 3 September carries an unattributed report
saying the PLA General Armament Department has denied a news report in
Hong Kong that the "Shenzhou VII" manned spaceship will be launched at
end of September ahead of schedule. The Propaganda Department of the
PLA General Armament Department pointed out: "We don't know how they
have got this information. We have never released such news." In June
this year, a news spokesman of the China Manned Spacecraft Engineering
Office announced that the "Shenzhou VII" manned spaceship will be
launched in October at an appropriate time with three astronauts and
that one of the astronauts is scheduled to conduct a space walk.
