[FPSPACE] Cosmos 2421.....Help !

According to

2421 was shredded earlier in the year

But , according to CalSky this is still an active spacecraft with no mention 
of debris.

USSPACECOM Nr: 29247            International Designator: 2006-026A

The object seen this morning was certainly a sizeable piece of hardware ( 
approx 5 - 10m span ), so is Cosmos 2421 dead , or alive ?
If its dead , we seem to have an errant recon sat prowling around ( which I 
doubt )
