Of course, Ares is intended to support the lunar program using Orion,
and it will be overqualified for LEO to ISS, just as Apollo was
overqualified for Skylab and ASTP uses.  Dragon on Falcon 9 is (as fa
as I know) designed specifically for LEO, and so only coincidentally
redundant with Orion-Ares I in LEO, but not intended for lunar
missions.
