SPECIAL EAS SEMINAR: "ENGINEERING FOR SPACE EXPLORATION" (FEATURED
EVENTS)

    From 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on April 2, a symposium called "Engineering
    for Space Exploration" is being hosted by Caltech's Division of
    Engineering and Applied Science as part of a regional meeting of the
    National Academy of Engineering. The event is free and open to
    members of the Caltech and JPL communities, as well as interested
    members of the public. Speakers include Sergio Pellegrino, professor
    of aeronautics and civil engineering at Caltech; Dwight Streit, vice
    president of electronics technology, Northrop Grumman Space
    Technology; JPL scientist Adam Steltzner; and David Thompson,
    chairman and CEO of the Orbital Sciences Corporation.
