This has been expected as a yearly testing training event.

I am more concerned with the North Korean stance in the six party
negotiations that has been observed of late and wonder if whether all sides
are going to get real on the total issues. Is North Korea going to revert to
its buying time past activities as a prelude to a follow up satellite launch
attempt by the Taep'o-dong-2C/3 space booster strategic ballistic missile
that could be looming this spring summer because the five year planning
timing is right? Could they demonstrate some new strategic ballistic missile
technological surprise thanks to Iran if they have leverage the trade with
Iran? The North Korean military industry planning requirements politics
issues interference as the five year plan proceeds has become apparent.
