Little question that Griffin blew the transition from the shuttle big time 
with the Stock, leading to the mess playing out before us. If he had gone with Ares V or a similar vehicle alone, then things would have been different. Oh well.

Does anyone have a link to that 2 shuttle derived vehicle analysis? You know, the faster, better, cheaper one?

Another way of thinking about this is as The Cult of Mars develops a case of the sniffles, pneumonia to follow.
