When I was in Moscow a few weeks ago, I read in a local paper that
this museum will re-open in September 2008. A "Hollywood's Walk of
Fame" honoring Russian space achievements has been added:

The monument really is quite a sight, and I believe it is made of
titanium. If you happen to stay at the Kosmos hotel across the
street, get one of the smaller rooms on the Prospect Mira side as
they have a great view of this (and other sights like the Ostankino Tower).

BTW, Sven's photo of the inside of the Kosmos pavilion shows it
looking better than the last time I saw it (2003 or so).
And I'm really jealous, because I never got to sit behind Korolev's desk! :-)
