Can anyone on list help cut through the myth about this craft?

Various sources indicate the mini shuttle flew on many occassions  with a 
two man crew carrying out reconnaissance missions.
There are a number of images showing it being recovered after splash down , 
but I wondered if we have any idea when it last flew ?
