As pointed out on another list , the satellite image used by AW turns out
to be that of the DK - 1
Mark says " The Resurs DK1, which is almost identical in appearance to the
Persona configuration, was first displayed by the Russians at the 2003 Paris
Air Show. "
If my images are correct , Persone is nothing like DK-1....
I will however concede that having re done the math , the satellite is
probably nearer 7 -8 metres in length rather than 5.....I had overlooked the
fact that my previous calculations took into account a 1:1.6 lens , which on
this occassion I hadnt used.
It remains to be seen if we ever get the chance to compare the attached
concept drawing to the the "real thing " :O)
