Plus Cobra Dane and Beale in sight of the impact, plus the track then
heading out in range of Cape Cod and potentially Thule and Fylingdales...and
the optical guys on Maui would have potentially obtain spectral imaging to
determine hydrazine was present.
All in all, could not have been better for them.
Now, anyone want to nominate the next 'disabled' satellite that has to be
conveniently hit by a missile, and as a byproduct, has life saving benefits
for those on earth?
