[FPSPACE] 2001 premiered 40 years ago today

As a young teenager in the D.C. area that's the theater, with its huge,
curved screen, in which I saw 2001 three times, always having to find
friends with parents who would drive us to the theater and drop us off for a
long day's movie, which at that time included an intermission.
