Hi all -

In my first note on this, I reported Hubbard's son's claims about his father's ties to the KGB. In my second note, I pointed out some Venona intercepts which substantiated Ron Jnr's story. In reading the following, keep in mind that Hubbard Snr. was a pathological liar.

NOVEMBER, 1942 - JANUARY, 1943 Hubbard in Florida

EARLY 1943 - GRU operative sent to Tampa to accept

minesweepers and is refused radar. He meets "Captain"

DONALD, "who is loyal to us" GRU message of 18 April,

1943

Unfortunately, DONALD was never identified by the FBI,

and the dates are weak because of the state of the

message decryption.

earlier note Hubbard and the KGB, part 2)

AUGUST, 1945 After treatment for stomach ulcers, Ron

Hubbard leaves Naval hospital, abandons his wife and

child, and takes off for Los Angeles and moves in with

Jack Parsons, who is working on soid rocket fuels, and

more importantly, Robert Cornog, who had worked on the

trigger for the atomic bomb. Bare Faced Messiah,

JANUARY 15, 1946 "Allied Enterprises" formed L Ron

Hubbard, Jack Parsons, Betty (The "Allied Enterprises"

name is similar to "Allied Scientists", another name

later used by Hubbard.)

Hubbard proposes he and Betty go to Miami to buy

boats, which putatively will be brought to Los Angeles

for sale.

JAUNARY 18, 1946 Marjorie Cameron shows up at Jack's -

Cameron had been a WAVE who worked in map room Naval

Chief of Staff. But she then had gone AWOL and was

discharged, and returned to her family's home in

Pasadena. Cameron had met Jack 1 year earlier (1945),

and Jack had noted her. Someone informed Cameron about

Betty leaving Jack for Ron, and she showed up at

Jack's house to become his new girlfriend.

FEBRUARY, 1946 News of Gouzenko's defection is

reported publicly.

MARCH 16, 1946 - Jack informs his boarders that he

plans to sell house.

"In the coming months the world approaches one of its

greatest crisis, and Agape Lodge [OTO] may well have a

basic role in this history. I hope and trust that your

own part will help make this role possible, in the

time when the Lodge and the world need you most."

Everyone would have to be out by June 1.

END APRIL, 1946 Hubbard leaves for Miami with Betty,

buys boats.

MAY, 1946 Jack is warned and goes to Miami after Ron

and Betty. Hubbard tries to flee to international

waters, but was forced back by a storm to Miami, where

Jack managed to bring him to court and retrieve a part

of his money. (In the 1966 Hubbard would form the "Sea

Project" ("Sea Org") and flee to international waters

and to escape prosection.)

DECEMBER, 1946 - THE END IS NOT YET
(published Aug-Oct 1947)

In this novella Hubbard pits Charles Martel, a

handsome, brilliant hero who is both a physicist and a

secret agent, against Fabrecken, the leader of an

international bankers’ conspiracy. Hubbard puts on

Martel’s side several former Nazi scientists, and on

Fabrecken’s side an American banker who is the head of

the Allied War Crimes Commission. While Martel and his

associates are driven only by personal motives or by a

philosophy of democracy, Fabrecken is driven by a

philosophy. Fabrecken’s ideals are presented as

stability and unity and are made to seem relatively

praiseworthy. "Remember," Fabrecken warns his

associates, "that we are putting AN END TO THE ANARCHY

OF INDUSTRY AND WITH THAT THE ANARCHY OF NATIONS. And

all we have to fear is the wild-eyed fool with a

two-penny idea who will stampede the world against

us—the only ones who can bring stability to the hell

on earth men have been calling life."

FABRECHEN IS ACCUSED BY MARTEL OF GIVING THE SECRET OF

THE ATOMIC BOMB TO THE SOVIET UNION IN ORDER TO

PROVOKE A NUCLEAR WAR. In the end Martel’s forces win

their revolt against Fabrecken, though Martel dies in

the final assault. Martel dies in the crossfire

between an ambush he has set for Fabrecken and one

Fabrecken has set for him, an ending that clearly

places the nominal hero and the nominal villain on the

same moral plane. More important, after Martel's death

and the establishment of an ostensibly democratic

government of scientists in his name ("ALLIED

SCIENTISTS OF THE WORLD"), MARTEL’S TWO CLOSEST

FRIENDS AND ALLIES realize that their government will

be no different from Fabrecken’s, except that with

Martel’s scientific weapons it will be stronger and

more pervasive. They then QUIT THE SCENE, ANNOUNCING

THEY ARE "GOING TO CHINA TO SING SONGS OF KUBLA KHAN."

(Ron had planned to sail to China with Betty; "Martel"
was perhaps inspired by Jack, and perhaps Fabrecken was inspired by Cornog, but inspired in a fictional story is a long way from proof of espionage. The problem is Hubbard's own activities in May, 1944, and then what he himself may have done later in this environment.)

HUBBARD IN 1951

"In November and December, Hubbard played a starring

role in FBI communications when he became enthused,

temporarily, by an extraordinary enterprise straight

from the pages of his own science fiction and smacking

faintly of world domination. HIS IDEA WAS TO ESTABLISH

AN ALLIANCE OF LEADING INTERNATIONAL SCIENTISTS AND TO

STORE ALL THE LATEST SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON MICROFILM

IN AN ATOM-BOMB-PROOF ARCHIVE SOMEWHERE IN ARIZONA. IN

THIS WAY, HE ARGUED SOMEWHAT OBSCURELY, INDIVIDUAL

NATIONS WOULD BE DENIED THE TECHNICAL CAPACITY TO WAGE

A NUCLEAR WAR. Hubbard called the project 'Allied

Scientists of the World' [the name of an organisation

that had featured in his novel 'The End Is Not Yet']

and chose Perry Chapdelaine to supervise its

inauguration.

'Ron telephoned me at three o'clock in the morning and

said he needed me real bad,' Chapdelaine recalled. 'I

got dressed and went over to his house and we sat in

the front room where he told me all about his plan for

Allied Scientists of the World. His stated goal was to

stop war in the world. HE THOUGHT WITH ALLIED

SCIENTISTS HE COULD CONTROL WAR AND IN THAT WAY

CONTROL THE WORLD. That was what he wanted, no

question.'

Chapdelaine was despatched in great secrecy - 'HUBBARD

TOLD ME TO MAKE SURE NO ONE KNEW HE WAS BEHIND IT,

I'VE NO IDEA WHY' - to Denver, Colorado, where the

headquarters of Allied Scientists of the World was to

be established. His orders were to organize a mass

mailing of scientists and technicians who would be

informed that they had been awarded fellowships in

Allied Scientists of the World in recognition of their

scientific achievements and invited to send in annual

dues of $25.

The timing could not have been worse. 'Thousands of

leaflets went out,' said Chapdelaine, 'but only one or

two came back.' Instead, THE FBI WAS DELUGED WITH

REQUESTS FROM RECIPIENTS OF THE MAIL-SHOT TO

INVESTIGATE THE ORGANIZATION AS A POSSIBLE COMMUNIST

FRONT ORGANIZATION - such was the power of

McCarthyism. The FBI soon established that L. Ron

Hubbard was behind Allied Scientists: inter-Bureau

memoranda now contained the information that 'several

individuals' alleged he was 'mentally incompetent' and

a report from the Kansas City office noted that he had

'delusions of grandeur'.[16]
