In 1997 I visited the Tsiokovsky museum, & saw fresh flowers laid by the
local High School on his grave in the park. On the low wall around the
park was inscribed "The Road to the Moon & Mars passes through Moscow".

By 2005 vandals had ripped off the inscription, but this time I got
to see the Tsiokovsky house museum (2 stories in wood), while the
Tsiolkovsky museum now sold a CD translated into hilariously-spelt
English. In May 2005 there were no flowers, but hopefully new wreaths
are there again.

with you in spirit, Jacob.
