Good Morning
I received a copy a couple of weeks ago. As well as some great technical
detail. Bert has interviewed many of the pilots involved in the program and
has been able to put together a lot about training and ambitions. Bart's
knowledge on the technical side and accessing Russian sources is great.

It is a great buy.

In passing the book I wrote with Bert and Dave Shayler's called Russia's
cosmonauts has been read by a number of foreign astronauts including the
Malaysians candidates and Ansari as part of there background work prior to
going to Star City. Prospective candidates in this group please note.

I enthusiastically echo these sentiments. I just got my copy
yesterday and have been bouncing through it like a child grabbing
at a succession of Christmas presents under the tree. This will be
for Buran whatAsif's book was for the Soviet side of the Moon Race --
the culmination of a generation's investigations and documentations and
evaluations and perspectives on this subject.
