Hello Gang, 
             My co-blogger Ralph Buttigieg has posted a very interesting article concerning the new The Google Lunar X PRIZE  An international private race to the Moon  which will prove much more exciting and inspiring because it will pave the way to establishing a permanent human presence in space. which is both economical sustainable and politically justifiable. Settling the Moon will help us find many of the solutions to some of the most pressing environmental problems that we face on Earth – energy independence and climate change.”

The fact that many in the space community recognize the need to return to the Moon, this time to stay, and use it resources to help solve many of our pressing problems here on Earth is just the focus we need to guarantee our long term survival on this planet.
