Managed to watch live coverage of the launch on CCTV9 , have got over 2 hours of the coverage live pictures of the lift off , Like the Ariane launches they showed simulations in real time of the staging up to satellite deployment and unfurl of the solar panels , there was extensive comments from Chinese and an American experts in the studio.

congratulations to china and every one at CCTV9 for this historic achievement and again excellent coverage !

This appears to be a standard GEO transfer orbit with a slightly elevated apogee. Inclination probably also standard, maybe 26 degrees.

"Chang'e-1 separated from carrier rocket at 6:29 p.m. and entered into a 16-hour orbit at 205 kilometers perigee and 50,930 kilometers apogee, according to the Beijing Aerospace Control Center (BACC)."
